TYVcure EPL60 is a two-component epoxy coating system developed for repairing and renovating drains and sewage pipes. The system is suited for the impregnation of liners/hoses and can be cured at both ambient and high temperatures, designed specifically for medium length sections.
TYVcure EPL60 resin consists of two liquid components:
| Name | Value | Unit |
|---|---|---|
| density of 'A' component | 1.2 ± 0.1 | g/cm3 |
| viscosity of 'A' component | 5500 ± 500 | mPas |
| density of 'B' component | 1.0 ± 0.1 | g/cm3 |
| viscosity of 'B' component | 250 ± 50 | mPas |
| density of mixture | 1.1 ± 0.1 | g/cm3 |
| viscosity of mixture | 2600 ± 400 | mPas |
| Name | Value | Unit |
|---|---|---|
| Young’s modulus | > 2800 | MPa |
| Tensile strength | > 45 | MPa |
| Elongation at break | > 1.5 | % |
| Flexural modulus | > 2800 | MPa |
| Flexural strength | > 90 | MPa |
| Compression strength | > 130 | MPa |
| Shore-D hardness | > 80 | Shore-D |
| Glass-transition temperature | > 90 | °C |
To assess chemical resistance, we introduced a rating system from 1 to 5, with 5 indicating the highest resistance.
