TYVcure 3PW is a two-component system developed for the rehabilitation of industrial and communal wastewater facilities, water insulation of engineering structures. It results in a thick, high-strength, and chemical resistant coating on technological structures. It is also suitable as a matrix material for glass fiber reinforced composites for various applications.
TYVcure 3PW resin is made of two liquid components:
| Name | Value | Unit |
|---|---|---|
| Enclosed space flash point of 'B' component | > 170 | °C |
| Open space flash point of 'B' component | > 200 | °C |
| Volatile organic content (VOC) of 'A' component | 0 | m/m% |
| Volatile organic content (VOC) of 'B' component | 0 | m/m% |
| density of 'A' component | 1.5 ± 0.1 | g/cm3 |
| viscosity of 'A' component | 400 ± 50 | mPas |
| density of 'B' component | 1.2 ± 0.1 | g/cm3 |
| viscosity of 'B' component | 220 ± 30 | mPas |
| Name | Value | Unit |
|---|---|---|
| Compressive strength | ≥ 50 | MPa |
| Flexural strength | ≥ 30 | MPa |
| Adhesion strength | ≥ 3.2 | MPa |
| Linear shrinkage | ≤ 0.1 | % |
| Abrasion resistance | ≤ 75 | mg |
| Surface water uptake | ≤ 24 | g/m2•day |
To assess chemical resistance, we introduced a rating system from 1 to 5, with 5 indicating the highest resistance.
